USA CULTURE PROJECT

INDEPENDENCE DAY!!!

On July 1776, USA claimed its independence from Britain and democracy was born.
Each year on July 4, Americans celebrate that freedom and independence with barbecures, picnics,...
They invite all nations to celebrate with Americans every Fourth of July. Happy birthday, America!!!

LANGUAGE
English is the national language. Although there is no official language.
Most of the population speaks English. The second most common language is Spanish. Languages change with the states, like Mexico (Spanish) Louisiana (French) and others.

CULTURE
The USA is a multicultural nation, home to a wide variety of ethnic groups, traditions and values. The people come from different countries, like England, Holland, Germany, Ireland, Scotland, Spain and other places like Latin America. The money of the US is the dollar ($).

FOOD
America hasn't got a characteristic type of food. There are differents types of food from each people from different part of the world. The foods most eaten are cereal, turkey, potatoes, sweet potatoes, different types of cakes, apple pie, fried chicken, pizza, hamburgers and hot dog.

SPORT
Baseball is the national sport. But there are a lot of other sports, like basketball, American football, ice hockey, lacross, volleyball, snowboarding, surfing, boxing and more other.

THANKSGIVING
Thanksgiving, or Thanksgiving day, is a traditional north american holiday,wich is a form of Harvest festival. Thanksgiving is celebrated Forth Thursday of November in U.S.
