The capital of England is selected for the olympic games in 2012.

The London Olympic Stadium will be the most important building of the 2012 Summer Olympics.The Stadium will be located in Stratford and will have a capacity of approximatly 80'000!

Coe said: "This is just the most fantastic opportunity to do everything we ever dreamed of in British sport."
The Queen, in a message to Coe, said: "I send my warmest congratulations to you and every member of the London 2012 team for winning the bid for the UK.

On 15 March 2007 Tessa Jowell announced to the House of Commons a budget of £5.3 billion to cover building the venues and infrastructure for the Games, at the same time announcing the wider generation budget for the Lower Lea Valley budget at £1.7 billion.

On top of this, she announced various other costs including an overall additional contingency fund of £2.7 billion, security and policing costs of £60funding of nearly £400 million0 million, VAT of £800 million and elite sport and Paralympic . According to these figures, the total for the Games and the regeneration of the East London area, is £9.345 billion!!

If you're organizing an Olympics to make a profit - you're in the wrong business .

This Olympic Games are very costly...but at least we wish which is fantastic and good presentation!!!!!
